白夜行 Byakuyakou (2006) | Mitsukaido Station — Minami-Oe Station and the Reunion

Mitsukaido Station on the Kanto Railway Joso Line plays fictional Minami-Oe Station in TBS’s 2006 白夜行. In episode 1, broadcast January 12, 2006, Yukiho talks with Taniguchi Mafumi here and Ryoji later stops Yukiho as she is about to board a train. The station returns in episode 3, broadcast January 26, for the platform scene where Ryoji and Yukiho kiss.

This identification is unusually well supported: the filming-location archive names Mitsukaido Station for both scenes, and Kanto Railway’s current station page lists 白夜行 among the station’s filming credits for December 2005. The station remains an active staffed stop at 2861-2 Mitsukaido Takaramachi, Joso.
