The 2007 issuer was lululemon athletica inc., a yoga-inspired retailer founded in 1998.
The company's investor-relations FAQ dates the initial public offering to July 2007 and states an offering of 18.2 million common shares priced at 18.00 U.S. dollars a share in 2007 dollars.
Period reports dated 26 July 2007 said the offering raised 327.6 million U.S. dollars in 2007 dollars.
Of the 18.2 million shares, the company sold 2,290,909 and selling stockholders sold 15,909,091.
Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch led the underwriting.
Trading began on 27 July 2007 on Nasdaq under LULU, with a parallel Toronto listing under LLL.
A first-day account put the close at 28 U.S. dollars in 2007 dollars after an intraday high of 28.64 U.S. dollars.
The letters LULU still open on the Nasdaq Global Select Market.
The mechanism is a 2007 cash initial public offering that opened a Canadian store book on the U.S. over-the-counter tape at a price well above the first filed range.
