People treat Hasbro as a Pawtucket toy shop that always printed HAS after a finished Nasdaq book.
The December 2010 issuer was Hasbro, Inc., which had listed on the American Stock Exchange in 1968 at 15.00 dollars a share in 1968 currency.
On 9 December 2010 the company told the New York Stock Exchange that the common stock would leave that tape.
HAS stopped on the New York Stock Exchange at the close of 20 December 2010.
The same letters opened on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on 21 December 2010.
The mechanism is a voluntary transfer of an existing listed book, not a new cash offering.
Nasdaq MarketSite at 4 Times Square is the public facade for that tape.
