People treat Fox as a Sixth Avenue news-and-sports shop that always printed FOXA after a finished broadcast book.
The March 2019 issuer was Fox Corporation, spun from Twenty-First Century Fox, Inc.
On 19 March 2019 Twenty-First Century Fox distributed 620,501,921 Fox shares to its stockholders.
Each Twenty-First Century Fox share exchanged for one-third of one Fox share of the same class.
Class A opened on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under FOXA.
Class B opened under FOX.
The old Twenty-First Century Fox letters moved that morning to TFCFA and TFCF.
Disney's purchase of the remaining Twenty-First Century Fox assets became effective at 12:02 a.m. Eastern Time on 20 March 2019.
No cash was raised for Fox.
The mechanism is a distribution that listed the leftover news, sports, and broadcast assets the day before the film studio left the tape.
Nasdaq MarketSite at 4 Times Square is the public facade for that tape.
Interior studios are not a visitor floor.
