People treat Flex as a Singapore contract manufacturer that always printed FLEX after a finished electronics book.
The March 1994 issuer was Flextronics International Ltd.
Ordinary shares had traded once before, then left the public book in a 1990 take-private.
On 18 March 1994 those ordinary shares opened again on the Nasdaq National Market under the letters FLEXF.
The company's later Form 10-K records the first printed range that fiscal quarter as 12.50 dollars to 14.50 dollars a share in 1994 currency.
The second listing raised about 35 million dollars.
The letters later shortened to FLEX.
The corporate name shortened to Flex Ltd. in September 2016.
The mechanism is a second cash listing after a take-private.
The Nasdaq book did start over.
Nasdaq MarketSite at 4 Times Square is the public facade for that tape.
