Finance History|11 Wall Street — HRS Stopped and a Combined Book Printed LHX

People treat L3Harris as a Melbourne defense house that always printed LHX after a finished New York book.
The 2019 issuer was L3Harris Technologies, Inc., the renamed successor to Harris Corporation after an all-stock merger with L3 Technologies, Inc.
The companies closed the merger on 29 June 2019.
Harris common stock had printed HRS on the New York Stock Exchange.
L3 common stock, which had printed LLL, ceased trading at the close on 28 June 2019.
Each L3 share converted into 1.30 shares of the combined company.
A company release dated 1 July 2019 stated that Harris shares would begin trading that day under LHX.
An SEC annual report later recorded that L3Harris was owned on a fully diluted basis 54 percent by former Harris holders and 46 percent by former L3 holders immediately after the closing.
The letters LHX still open on the New York Stock Exchange.
The mechanism is a 2019 merger listing that retired HRS and LLL and opened a single defense book rather than a cash initial public offering.
The pin is the public Broad Street facade of the 1903 New York Stock Exchange building, the present street marker for the tape that prints LHX.
Interior trading is not visitable from the sidewalk.
