People treat Hubbell as a Shelton wiring shop that always printed HUBB after a finished plug book.
The December 2015 issuer was Hubbell Incorporated, until then dual-class under the letters HUB.A and HUB.B.
On 23 December 2015 shareholders approved a reclassification of both classes into a single common stock.
Trading in Class A and Class B ceased after that close.
The single class opened on the New York Stock Exchange the next session, 24 December 2015, under the letters HUBB.
Holders of Class A received 28 dollars in 2015 currency for each Class A share.
Each Class A share and each Class B share became one share of the new common.
The company's 2015 Form 10-K records the post-reclassification fourth-quarter range as 99.60 to 104.47 dollars.
The mechanism is a dual-class collapse paid partly in cash, not an IPO.
The pin is the Broad Street facade of the Exchange on that opening.
Interior trading is not visitable from the sidewalk.
