People treat IDEXX as a Westbrook campus that always printed IDXX after a SNAP test and a clinic analyzer.
The June 1991 issuer was IDEXX Laboratories, Inc., incorporated in Delaware in 1983 after an Old Port start as AgriTech.
The company's investor FAQ records the offering: 1,600,000 shares to the public on 21 June 1991.
The same FAQ states the offer price as 0.9375 dollars a share after four later two-for-one splits.
Four two-for-one splits multiply the share count by sixteen, so the 1991 print was 15 dollars a share in 1991 currency.
The splits were paid 1 October 1993, 5 June 1995, 26 November 2007, and 15 June 2015.
The common stock trades on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the letters IDXX.
The mechanism is a veterinary-diagnostics book priced before the SNAP immunoassay and the in-clinic chemistry analyzer became the franchise.
Nasdaq MarketSite at 4 Times Square opened in 2000, nine years after this print.
The pin is that public facade, the later face of the electronic market that kept the IDXX tape. Interior studios are not a visitor floor.
