People treat T-Mobile US as a Bellevue wireless house that always printed TMUS after a finished New York book.
The letters arrived through another company's already-listed book.
A company newsroom release dated 1 May 2013 records that the combination of T-Mobile USA and MetroPCS Communications closed and that T-Mobile US began trading on the New York Stock Exchange that day under the ticker TMUS.
Under the combination agreement MetroPCS paid 1.5 billion dollars in cash in 2013 currency to its stockholders and issued about 74 percent of the combined book to Deutsche Telekom.
PCS stopped as the New York letters.
The mechanism is a reverse merger that put an unlisted American wireless operator onto an already-public New York tape, not a cash initial public offering priced on the floor.
The present tape is still TMUS on the New York Stock Exchange.
The pin is the Broad Street facade of the Exchange, where TMUS opened.
Interior trading is not visitable from the sidewalk.
